For BIOGRAPHIES: (not missionary biographies, or Bible biographies)

The subject heading should be the biographer's name, last name first.

For the call number:
Use B followed by the first three letters of the biographer's last name.

For missionary biographies, use 266.092 followed by the first three letters of the biographer's last name. (For collective biography, use the first three letters of the author's last name.)

For Bible biographies:
From the Old Testament, use 221.92 followed by the first three letters of the biographer's last name.
From the New Testament, use 225.92 followed by the first three letters of the biographee's last name. (Exception: Class Jesus Christ, Mary, Joseph, and John the Baptist in the 232's.)
For collective biography from both the Old and New Testaments, use 220.92 followed by the first three letters of the author's last name.

(If the book stresses one aspect of a person's life, such as sports or music, the book can be placed in that classification..)
