Meet Our People

Our current leaders have been volunteering in their communities for many years, and they bring with them an incredible ability to lead, inspire and care for those that need it.

With over 50 years of volunteer experience among them, our leaders provide Va. Baptist Librarian Assoc. with the inspiration and direction to keep the organization moving forward and expanding in new areas based on our community's needs.

Lee Smith

Director

Bio: Lee has been serving on the Virginia Church Library Associations Executive Board in various positions since 2012. He has currently been serving at Director since 2016.

Lee comes from a family of church librarians and workers. His father Percy served as church library director for 27 years along with his mom serving on the church library staff for many years. Lee doesn't remember when he actually started in church library ministry. He has been on his church library staff since his early teens and has currently been serving as church library director since 2009.
